So I got this part time job deal at a computer store downtown. It sucks. I hate it. There's only a few computers to work on. and I finished those in an hour. so I'm really very bored. It sucks. I need coffee. |

Congressman Denounces National ID Card Sierra Times
Washington, DC- Congressman Ron Paul Wednesday denounced the national ID card provisions contained in the intelligence bill being voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives, while urging his colleagues to reject the bill and its new layers of needless bureaucracy. “National ID cards are not proper in a free society,” Paul stated. “This is America, not Soviet Russia. The federal government should never be allowed to demand papers from American citizens, and it certainly has no constitutional authority to do so.” “A national identification card, in whatever form it may take, will allow the federal government to inappropriately monitor the movements and transactions of every American,” Paul continued. “History shows that governments inevitably use such power in harmful ways. The 9-11 commission, whose recommendations underlie this bill, has called for internal screening points where identification will be demanded. Domestic travel restrictions are the hallmark of authoritarian states, not free nations. It is just a matter of time until those who refuse to carry the new licenses will be denied the ability to drive or board an airplane.” “Nationalizing standards for drivers licenses and birth certificates, and linking them together via a national database, creates a national ID system pure and simple. Proponents of the national ID understand that the public remains wary of the scheme, so they attempt to claim they’re merely creating new standards for existing state IDs. Nonsense! This legislation imposes federal standards in a federal bill, and it creates a federalized ID regardless of whether the ID itself is still stamped with the name of your state.” “Those who are willing to allow the government to establish a Soviet-style internal passport system because they think it will make us safer are terribly mistaken,” Paul concluded. “Subjecting every citizen to surveillance and screening points actually will make us less safe, not in the least because it will divert resources away from tracking and apprehending terrorists and deploy them against innocent Americans! Every conservative who believes in constitutional restraints on government should reject the authoritarian national ID card and the nonsensical intelligence bill itself.”

| | Ride of the Valkyries | ] | So I downloaded Ride of the Valkyries, and I get this destructive feeling everytime I listen. Like, in Apocolypse Now where There's one Helicoptor that plays music while everyone else attacks. It's great. Not to mention it's one of my favorite opera songs. Well, that's about all. |

| looks like a job |
[Nov. 14th, 2004|09:42 am] |
I did a urinalysis the other day for walmart. Apparently my grandmothers friend needs someone to help him out in accounting at Kroger. He's a really nice guy, and gay, too. He specifically asked her to tell me because he wants to learn how to work some stuff on computers.
well, it looks like i'm going to get the job at walmart, however much I don't want to work there. I'll get about the same pay I was with the Computer store, but I'll get full time hours. perhaps i'll be able to get my own place then, and stop mooching off my grandmother. I may also have to find a part time job, to keep money in my pockets. I really don't want a studio apartment, but they have full utilities and I could use that.
I hope I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket. I really need this job, and I need to get outta here. I hate walmart, but I guess it's something I have to do. I guess when life hands you a bone you gatta start nibbling. |

| I love my companions |
[Nov. 13th, 2004|01:49 pm] |
My two tarntulas are great. I don't think that I will ever have the time to take care of baby Tarantulas, so I doubt that I will ever breed them. They are mellow and stay inside their assigned cage. They listen to me, and climb out whenever the misfits or dropkick murphy's is played. They're my kinda pets.
Dracula T. Tarantula is the Male, he is pretty active. As active as Grammastola Rosea are.(that's chillen rose, a pretty domicile species) Tepes T. Tarantula, the female, is rather mellow. she only comes out when there's food.
(Dracula means son of dracul which is translated as dragon or devil. and tepes translates into Spike)
Vlad T. Impaler the bearded dragon had to be put down because of a tumor. I loved him and i don't think i could ever replace him.
My boa Constrictor ust tooped 3 feet on its last molt. I have my suspicions that it is female, but I won't name her untill I find out. as f now I call it Bob. She's gorgeous though, and recognizes me when I speak or pu my hand in her cage. She tend to be temperamental to anyone but me. She gets tense and defensive when anyone else holds her. |

DRACULA THE TARANTULA By Eric A. Everspaugh Dracula the Tarantula. Slick as can be. Hides in his hole So you can't see. Once you leave He jumps right out. Sneaks out his cage, And wanders about. Swiftly and silently He wanders around Untill he feels your steps And hears your sounds He's in hole By the time you're back And the neighbors mad Because he ate her cat. |

Her Unfinished By Eric A. Everspaugh
The breeze Blows through the trees Rattling the leaves And I remember you Whispering in my ears
I remember your breathe The times we slept As the wind softly blows The back of my neck
With fingers spread Hand in the air I remember your hair And it’s brilliant red.
I look toward the sky and I remember your eyes That very strange grey Now so distant away |

swollen eyes unfinished by Eric Everspaugh Alone Without sight He sits in darkness Can hear no sounds Smells no fragrance Tastes no flavor And feels no touch He sits and waits for death Catatonic Intelligence – compensation Emotions – no help Hope – death
Conscious only in subconscious Dreams – hanging himself from a balcony Knotted rope – broken from his weight Impossible – escape
Her words are written Unsure if he’s there She continues to speak With hope, with none
Daily He sees her face Hears her words Smells her scent Tastes hers lips And feels her embrace Rage Engulfs her Sadness strikes Depression here She speaks to him Hears no reply He listens to her He hears judgment Resounding He feels her words were meant to hurt.
Tears Stream down his cheeks |

Look, I know I haven't been trying as hard as I should at getting to AA. There's also other circumstances that disallow my going. it comes off to me that your trying to tell me that your better than me. That you can be trusted and I can't. Your throwing in my face that I am an alcoholic and it pisses me off.I know I'm an alcoholic. I know I have issues. I know I need to fix them. I don't need to be reminded by you that you don't have these problems, that you can't trust me.
stop judging me.
you want an open relationship, but you don't believe what i say. well, i guess you have to trust what i say. and if you can't do that, maybe i shouldn't say anything at all |
